We are Truck Norris - the first American BBQ truck in New Zealand's South Island. With our custom made, state of the art truck with two huge in-built gravity-fed smokers made by SmokeDogg.  We have mastered the art of smoking meats. After multiple trips to America, Matt is self-taught who has gone on to teach many others in the South to share his passion and skills. 

First set up in Methven, then moving to Queenstown and now Christchurch, Truck Norris is an iconic name, and well respected business in the culinary-truck industry.  We continue to bring you juicy, perfectly smoked meats for event catering and weddings throughout the entire South Island.

Mr. Matt Pitmaster-Pickersgill, AKA Truck Norris. Lover of all things BBQ, Matt has been around the trucks since 2016. After finishing his Chef qualification, Matt has worked around the globe in a range of high-end restaurants, festivals, events and cooked for many A-class celebrities. His passion is smoking meat and is damn good at it! Truck Norris provides nothing but authentic, epic Texas BBQ.
